Omega converting lines have led the way in development of self-adhesive postage stamp converting equipment. Stamp converting lines have been installed world-wide to meet the most stringent of today's security print requirements. The parent roll of self-adhesive stamps is first die cut in perfect registration before being either through cut into large sheets or slit and rewound into small rolls.

A Festoon system separates the full rotary converting section of the machine with the stop start action of the automatic turret rewinder. This combination ensures an exact count of the finished roll of stamps and perfect inter-stamp cut at the end of the roll.

Additional equipment is also available to convey away the finished rolls of stamps into bowl feeder for sorting before packing into presentation cartons.

As a further development to the successful Omega SR inspection slitter rewinder range the Omega modular converting lines are available in web width 270mm - 330mm - 410mm - 510mm.
The basic specification gives a perfect platform for a wide range of converting requirements including self-adhesive labels, security products, self-adhesive stamps and RFID and EAS devices. Omega converting lines can be used in conjunction with numerous other finishing equipment such as B Bunch fan-folders, Vectra automatic turret rewinders and single product collection systems. By nature these converting lines are extremely bespoke and specifications can be constructed to meet the most customers' requirements.
