The company will launch the brand new Omega VSR vertical slitter rewinder with servo drive tension control package. This will be joined by an Omega converting line with 1000mm diameter unwind, motorised reel lift, web guide, rotary die cutting, and slitting coupled with a Vectra STR with constant end support for 19mm mandrels and new generation core loader. Also featuring will be an Omega SR1300 slitter inspection rewinder with fleyeVision electronic, 100% print face camera inspection system.
There is also a first time showing in the Southern Hemisphere of the Omega Digicon Series 2 label converting line for wine label production fully specified with foiling, laminating, flatbed embossing/die cutting, flexo and screen-printing. Currie Group will show this model on its adjacent stand number H10.
"We are bringing a total of five machines to PacPrint and will have a strong presence at this event in partnership with our distributors in the region," said Mark Hyde of AB Graphic International.
