The compact web path ensures that no booklets will be dispensed during operation and is controlled by a servo motor and a constant tension vacuum plate.  Unwind and rewind units are configured in a cassette system to support any roll of labels and allowing core diameters from 40 mm (1.6 in.) and up.  The rewind cassette is designed to completely detach from the shaft and stabilise the wound roll until secure on a table or fed into the next operation.  A side adjustable splice table provides perfect splices between rolls. The rewinder includes servo drive with an adjustable rewind tension.

Braillemaker One is capable of handling web widths of 150 or 330 mm (6 or 13 in.) with a maximum roll diameter of 450 mm (17 ¾ in.) at speeds up to 35 m/min (115 fpm).  A number of options are available including a slitting secondary rewinding,  vision inspection for Braille verification, and UV curing.
