The printface inspection system fleyeVision sheetControl controls every individual sheet, to guarantee a stable and error-free printing quality. The sheets to inspect pass by the sheetControl-camera on a conveyor system. The camera takes a photo from each sheet and sends it to the computer which compares it against a “master image”, which has previously been taught or saved to file. The system will detect common printing errors such as incorrect or missing colours, missing text or letters, register variations, spots, scratches or dirt on the images. Additionally, fleyeVision sheetControl can read and classify barcodes of all types and compare OCR-numberings against saved datafiles.

Any sheets upon which an error is detected, fall into a “litter box”, while the error-free sheets are transported to a collection. FleyeVision sheetControl is a universal and stand-alone-system. It means, it can either be attached to existing machines, for example printing presses, or can be designed as a special off-line-device, including camera and transport system. fleyeVision sheet control can be adapted to every size of sheet and be designed according to customers needs and requirements.
