FleyeVision inspects text and images for print errors, dust adhered to the surface, and registration errors. Also it can recognise and classify all standard barcodes, check data in OCR characters and check Braille for errors. The images are recorded by a digital line scan camera that offers up to 4096 pixel resolution.
Image processing is handled in the computer: The labels are continuously photographed and are compared to a previously learned master image. There is also the option to verify the master image using a PDF comparison process. If an error is identified, a warning signal is issued, the error position is marked, and the type and position of the error are displayed on the monitor.
When equipped with two cameras, fleyeVision print Machine can be used to inspect labels simultaneously both front and back.
FleyeVision was designed as a stand-alone system so that it can be retrofitted at any time to your printing machine. By using PCcontrolled technology, our system is simple to maintain and offers excellent system stability. FleyeVision operation is simple: all data is entered using symbols on the touch-screen monitor. FleyeVision software guides the operator through the necessary inputs step by step.

HOW IT WORKS
Errors recognised by the camera are sent to the T100 controller for marking or protocolling and simultaneously displayed on the monitor. The positions of errors are marked in red on the display, while the reference image is also displayed for control. This allows the operator to make quick and clear comparisons while providing the necessary information to be able to make corrections even while printing is in process.

The parameters for any error can be freely defined. The status of total errors is communicated via a three-stage visual indicator and an acoustic alarm. As a result, the operator will always be aware of the print status. It is also possible to identify misprints during a run using a labeller or inkjet printer. When printing sheets, it is also possible to use the controller to automatically separate out misprints. All errors are recorded and printed out with dimensions and position on the web (in linear meters). Using our editor you can design the report based on the specific requirements of your company.
